Man hospitalized after crashing into semi near Madelia

A Madelia man was injured Tuesday afternoon in an accident on Highway 60 in Blue Earth County.

The Minnesota State Patrol reports the crash occurred at 4:38 p.m., five miles east of Madelia when 35-year old Joshua Steven Schoener rear-ended a semi near the intersection with 478th Avenue.  

Schoener sustained non-life threatening injuries and was transported to the Madelia Hospital.

Troopers say the driver of the tractor-trailer, 32-year old Joshua Eric Gray of Madelia was uninjured.
