The City of North Mankato is getting to work immediately, paving the way for John Harrenstein to move into the City Administrator position.  

 

Mayor Mark Dehen tells KTOE News that he has sent out an email to Harrenstein today to find out how soon Harrenstein  can be available to start work.  Meanwhile the city is starting the background check.

 

Dehen says he hopes to have a contract worked out for the City Council to look at by the second meeting in January,  and the latest he hopes Harrenstein will start is March 1.
