The National Weather Service reports 9.3 inches in Amboy. 8.5 inches in Fairmont, 8 inches in Winnebago and 7 inches in Mapleton and Mankato.
A wreath is placed outside the downtown Mankato main fire station, visible from Riverfront Drive, decorated with white lights.
Five cars derailed from a train just south of Mankato early Thursday morning. Blue Earth County Sheriff's Captain Rich Murry says there were no spills, so there is no danger to the public.
As we approach the Thanksgiving holiday travel window, gas prices in Minnesota remain at a pleasantly low statewide average price of $2.70 per gallon.
KTOE got a listener report of 7.5 inches measured at Tourtellotte Park in North Mankato.
New Ulm Police are asking for public help locating a woman who went missing Monday.
